Māori Language Program at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa

The Legal Māori Project: Dr Mary Boyce, research assistant Dulce Piacentini, Māmari Stephens and head research assistant Tai Ahu. The project is based at the Faculty of Law, Victoria University of Wellington, NZ. This is one of Dr Boyce’s current research activities.

Te Piringa Māori offers you a unique four year Māori language proficiency program – the only such program in the USA.

You can study the language to fourth year level (when there is demand), and complement your language study with a suite of associated courses in literature, culture and song. In addition you can request individual programs to cater for your special needs (subject to availability of faculty).
