Dr. Sai Bhatawadekar

The Hindi-Urdu Language Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sai Bhatawadekar, PhD.
— Dr. Bhatawadekar, who joined the department in 2008, is a specialist in foreign and heritage language teaching, pedagogy, curriculum and material development and program building. Her research interests comprise, but are not limited to, South Asian cinema and culture, film adaptation of literature, Hindi and Buddhist religious philosophies and their reception in the West, and German-Indian comparative philosophy.
